From 10/08/2006 to 10/08/2010 Permanent Exhibition of Goldsmith's Art in Colle di Tora Colle di Tora
In the splendid area of Lake Turano in the province of Rieti, lies a small but evocative town, called Colle di Tora. This year for the annual town celebration held in August, the city council has decided to invite the Master Goldsmith, Stefano Belfiore, creator of the Coliseum ring, the official symbol of Rome, to exhibit Goldsmith’s Art created using leaves collected in the mountains near the Lake.
It is well to remember that the Coliseum, the universal symbol of Rome, was begun during the reign of the Sabine Emperor Vespasian and was concluded during the reign of his son Titus, second Emperor of the Flavian dynasty.
The world famous Master Goldsmith and the members of the city council are certain that this innovative way to represent the area is another valid reason to come and visit this area with its mixture of Art, Culture and Tourism, as well as an open invitation to anyone who has a passion for botany, jewelry and art in general.
The permanent exhibition will be inaugurated on August 10th in the "il Cantinone" hall at City Hall located in Via Parodi in the historical center of Colle di Tora.
Open: summer from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Free entrance every day of the year.
